The clinical and research activity of Prof. Pappone’s team, made up of about 90 professionals, is dedicated to the development and implementation of new therapeutic strategies in patients with atrial fibrillation and flutter, WPW syndrome, nodal and atrioventricular reciprocating tachycardia, ventricular tachycardias, ventricular extrasystole, auricle occlusion, and implantation of cardiac stimulation devices and defibrillators. We are the leading center in the world for the practice of ablative therapy and the study of the omics of Brugada syndrome, long QT syndrome, and other genetic heart diseases. Particular interest is addressed to arrhythmogenic dysplasia, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, noncompaction cardiomyopathy, and dilated cardiomyopathy.
